Storytime

This picture is for a linky party at Focusing on Life blog that I write for. The beginning of the story has been provided and anyone participating gives a picture representing the ending of the story. Here's my picture! Leave your guesses below on what happens next.  It will be fun to see all the different endings that people think of!

The rest of the story is to come on Sunday!  Be sure to check back to see how all the stories turn out.

Follow this link for the beginning of the story. In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy guessing where this picture leads.

  1. She quickly went out to the beach to grab a spot by the ocean's edge before the beach was full of summer tourists.

  2. I think she's been so hot in the desert that she's escaped to the ocean. She's found a quiet spot to finish the novel she's been reading this summer!

  3. Oh my! She then decided that life was too short and it was her time now. So she packed her bags, sold the house and bought a cottage at the beach. She invited all her Life sisters to live with her! And they all lived happily ever after. The End.

Now that's my kind of story!

  4. It was the last morning of her family vacation at the beach. She waited for the fog to lift and said her goodbyes to the seagulls until next year

  5. I think that she awoke to take an early walk on the beach before she had to pack up and go back home. The sun hadn't even burned through the clouds yet and very few people were out yet. She took some photos and sighed a happy sigh as she walked back to her family and began to pack..

  7. She came out for one last look at the ocean so she could remember in her heart that life holds endless possibilities.

  9. It had been a wonderful week on the beach with her family and she was determined to wring every minute out of their last day. However, instead of a beautiful beach day, she woke up to find fog. How could nature cheat her out of her final day at the beach? But then she realized that the only thing that could cheat her out of it was herself and she pulled on some jeans and a sweater (quite foreign to this desert girl at this time of year), grabbed her camera and went out to enjoy the morning in spite of the fog and capture a few last photographs to remember her time at the beach.

Cathy, you were right about finishing the novel I'd started earlier in the summer. One of the most fun things about vacations is having the time to read.

And, Linda, I love your guess! If all of my Life Sisters could see this house, you would want to move in there with me for sure! Five bedrooms, each with its own bath, would be perfect for the 10 of us!

    Thanks everybody for playing along!
